    Description

This is a Lot of Antique Famous Aviator Lillian Gatlin Goggles , Scarf , and Original Airplane Photos with Original Negatives.
I having been selling a large collection from the Lillian Gatlin estate over the last several weeks and this is a continuation of these items.
For those of you who are not aware of Lillian Gatlin, she was a very famous Early Aviator that was a friend of historic aviators such as Lincoln Beachey and Glenn Martin. She gained her greatest fame when in 1922 she became the first woman to fly across the United States and did so with the United States Airmail.
This group consist of a pair of her flight goggles and scarf that she wore while flying prior to 1922 including her flights in the “BlueBird” aircraft shown in these photos. The 10 photos and 8 negatives measure 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches and are in good condition.
Overall a nice historic grouping of aviation history.
