L'Etoile Du Nord Minnesota State Seal Cufflinks

From an estate in Junction, Texas. These are from a whole case of cufflinks new old stock still in tissue. They may have a little tarnish on them. I have not tried to clean or polish them. One pair weighs 0.4 ounces or 10 grams. One measures approximately one inch diameter. I have no idea how old these are or who made them. If you have any questions, please contact me before bidding. is a French phrase meaning "
The Star of the North
". It is the motto of the state of Minnesota and was chosen by the state's first governor, Henry Hastings Sibley
and was adopted in 1861
.
The items in my store come from estate sales, auctions and warehouse closings. Most are used and will show some kind of wear. Others are new old stock in original packaging and still sealed, boxed or tagged.
