Vintage 1947-1950 National Society DAR Booklet "Highlights of Program Activity"

Description

This highly collectible, vintage booklet was produced by the National Society of the DAR  during the tenure of president general Mrs. Roscoe C. O'Byrne.  It is very rare.
The booklet is made out of lightweight manila paper with bluish black print. It is stapled together with two staples as the spine.
It has a copyright date of 1947, and features photographs and drawings, as well as text, on all the different activities of the DAR during that time period.
This booklet measure 6" x 4 1/2".
The cover of the booklet features some rough spots (see photos), but no stains. There are no tears or rips. The back cover, upper left-hand corner, appears to have been folded down at one time, but it is flat again. There are some printing smudges, but they are few and minor, and are part of the original printing process, I believe.
This is a very interesting booklet,  providing a fascinating history of that time in both text and photos!
It is from a non-smoking home.
